On the way to indoor soccer, I always zoom past this Heritage-listed Subiaco landmark without paying it much attention (I'm usually running a little late).
While Dad's been in hospital at St John of God across the road, I've had the chance to take a good look at the church in all its art deco beauty.
It's certainly beautiful on the outside and very reminiscent of the many churches and cathedrals I wandered through while over in Europe.
Hopefully, unlike the good doctor mentioned in this story, the people who own the property the church resides on won't get the bulldozers and wrecking balls in to make way for even more townhouses.
