Every year, UNICEF holds its annual Save the Children Book Sale at the South Perth Civic Centre and it's always a raging success.
Prizes picked up at this year's sale included a tonne of photography tomes covering everything from SLR techniques to putting together the "perfect" portfolio, but the biggest score has to be a 1979 book exploring the fascinating world of West Australian watering holes.
It is now part of the powerful "reference library" residing on my desk at work.
