There's always something happening on James Street.
When I used to work at the Subway near Cinema Paradiso, night shifts would always be filled with colourful characters.
And if I wasn't working, you could always count on at least one interesting encounter walking between pubs on a Friday or Saturday night.
Plus during the week, wandering up and down James Street for lunch is a fantastic excuse to get out of the office for a bit.
